La Aurora Cigars |
Cigars rated 90 and above by the connoisseurs of Cigar Aficionado are the acknowledged cream of the crop. And La Aurora sun-grown Maduro occupies a place in the pantheon of the greats. Every smoker we know who has tried it has confirmed that the rating is fully justified. With its Maduro wrapper grown in the sun, subject to all the vicissitudes of nature, it's an incredible feat to achieve such uniformity of chocolaty color. But the La Aurora extreme commitment to taking only leaves grown on the same farm in the rich soil and ideal climate of Santiago de los Caballeros, leaves picked from the same priming of the plants, leaves cured and aged in the same bale, assures such consistency.
But that's the dedication to excellence that it takes to garner a 90 rating. And for the descendents of Don Eduardo Le?n Jimenes, the fabled founder of La Aurora, nothing short of such an effort is thinkable. Similar devotion is lavished on the meticulous manufacture of each La Aurora. The rich, chocolaty color suggests the tobacco's unique taste. The soft, white smoke and long, white ash of the La Aurora Maduro produce an experience that is a joy to behold and a delight to savor. Taste the La Aurora Maduro for yourself and know the delights of a 90 rating. |

Helix Cigars |
Introduced in 2002, the Helix brand is a mild, flavorful smoking cigar and derives its name from the spiral wrapping of the outer wrapper. The natural cigars of this blend are bound in Mexican leaf from the St. Andres Tuxtla Valley, wrapped in Connecticut Shade leaf and filled with a blend of Honduran Talanga Valley, Brazilian Mata Fina and Dominican Piloto Cubano tobaccos. |

Oliva Cigars |
There's something for everyone in this line, which was introduced in 1999! Although most of the shapes have no name, they are all very well made and offer a wide variety of taste. The standard line uses an Indonesian
wrapper and has a medium-bodied strength, as do the Giants Series and the Shapes Series. The Gold line uses a Connecticut-seed wrapper and is quite mild, while the Habano 2000 line uses the Nicaraguan-grown Habana 2000 wrapper and has a mild-to-medium bodied taste. The Candela Series is mild, with a Honduran wrapper and the flavored cigars feature a sweet tip, an Indonesian wrapper and a choice of either cherry or vanilla flavoring. Most of the shapes are available in bundles of 25, although the Giants come in packs of eight and a five-pack is also available for some of the standard series shapes. |
